Gerald Lloyd Metzger, age 84, of South Connellsville, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, August 14, 2009 in the Uniontown Hospital. Friends will be received on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., the hour of the Memorial Service, in the FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH at 301 South Pittsburgh Street in Connellsville, Pennsylvania. The Rev. Dean Meyer will officiate.

Committal Service with Full Military Honors conducted by the Connellsville American Legion, the Connellsville Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Trotter American Legion will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville, Pennsylvania.

In lieu of flowers, the Family suggests donations be made to either the First Baptist Church, the Connellsville American Legion or to the Connellsville Veterans of Foreign Wars in memory of Gerald Lloyd Metzger.
