Uniontown police said money was stolen from the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant on Morgantown Street on Monday.

Bicycle stolen

Danielle Tackett of Uniontown told police that her bicycle was stolen from a location on Hickle Street at 6:28 p.m. Monday, Uniontown police said.

Vandalism reported

Uniontown police said vandals damaged a motorcycle owned by Larry Simmons of Uniontown while it was parked on Wayne Street on Monday afternoon.

Home burglarized

Uniontown police said they are investigating a burglary at the home of Teona Fitzgerald of Uniontown on North Grant Street that occurred early Monday.

Crash reported

State police said vehicles driven by Linda Hess of Gibbon Glade and an unidentified motorist collided on Route 40 at 5 p.m. Aug. 19. Police said the unidentified driver fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Vehicle damaged

Vandals damaged a car owned by Stephanie Clark of Melcroft while it was parked in Saltlick Township Aug. 16, state police said.

Cars collide

State police said no one was injured when vehicles driven by Mark Handlin of South Union Township and Dolores Myers of Hopwood collided on Oliphant Road at 3:57 p.m. Aug. 16.

Vandalism reported

State police said a Uniontown woman damaged multiple items owned by Nancy Veney of South Union Township at her home on Oliphant Road on Aug. 16. No further information was available.

Thefts reported

State police said registration stickers owned by Charles McCormick and Frank Voytek, both of Uniontown, were stolen from their vehicles while they were parked on Shaffer Street between Aug. 13 and Aug. 16.

Window broken

Vandals broke the rear window of a vehicle owned by Vivian Fisher of Uniontown while it was parked on North Gallatin Avenue on Aug. 19, state police said.

Manhole covers stolen

State police said six manhole covers owned by the South Union Township Sewage Authority were stolen from a location in the township Aug. 19.

Items stolen

Andy VanSickle Jr. of Uniontown told police that items were stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in Dunbar Township on Aug. 15, state police said.

Gun stolen

Charles Gentile of Wharton Township told police that a shotgun was stolen from his home on Chalk Hill-Ohiopyle Road sometime between June and August, state police said.

Vandalism reported

State police said vandals damaged a home owned by Ronald Gross Jr. of Dunbar on Laurel Lane between July 20 and Thursday.

Money stolen

State police said cash was stolen from a tip jar at the Golden Dragon restaurant in Jefferson Township, Greene County, Aug. 19.

Theft reported

State police said $1,700 was stolen from an office in Clarksville on Center Street on Aug. 15.

Crash injures one

One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident on Route 857 at 6:36 a.m. Saturday, state police said.

A vehicle driven by Robert Miller, 19, of McClellandtown was traveling south on Route 857 when the front driver?s side tire blew out, police said. The vehicle continued south, swerving over the center double yellow line multiple times before striking a utility police in the area of Rich Farms. Police said the vehicle sheered the utility police and stopped with its rear axle suspended above the ground by the bottom of the sheered pole.

Police said Miller was treated for unknown injuries. He was cited for failing to stay in his lane, police said.

Mountain bike stolen

A Roadmaster mountain bike was stolen from a porch on Walnut Street between 11:30 p.m. Aug. 10 and 11 p.m. Aug. 11, state police said. The bike is black, blue and white and is owned by the 15-year-old son of Charlene Smitley, 39, of Walnut Street, police said.

CENTERVILLE

Theft probed

Centerville police are investigating numerous thefts that occurred in the Richeyville area Friday night. Police said items were stolen from various unlocked vehicles that had been parked in the area. Police are asking residents to keep their vehicles locked and to report any suspicious activity to the police by calling 911.

Legion vandalized

Centerville police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief that occurred when someone took two gallons of blue paint and spread it on the side of the Centerville American Legion building sometime Saturday night.

Car burned

State police are investigating an incident in which a Honda passenger car was burned while it was on Shepherd Road, just east of Skyline Drive at 12:51 a.m. Monday. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-439-7111.

NORTH UNION TWP.

Two cited

Two people were cited following an incident in front of 532 Independence St. in North Union Township at 2:36 a.m. Saturday, state police said.

The incident occurred when Caitlyn Tiara George, 20, of 801 Surrey Hill Drive, Uniontown, arrived at the location and became involved in an altercation with Eric Michael Lowe, 24, of 532 Independence Ave., Uniontown, and Theresa Marie Intorre, 41, of Uniontown. Police said George and Intorre disturbed the peace by yelling and Intorre then allegedly broke a window out of a vehicle owned by Patricia A. Miller, 52, of 323 Messmore Road, McClellandtown.

George was cited for harassment and disorderly conduct and Intorre was cited with criminal mischief and harassment, police said.

CONNELLSVILLE

Charges filed

Connellsville police have filed charges against the following people in unrelated incidents.

Andrew Simmons, 19, of Connellsville was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after police said he was found Aug. 15 intoxicated and lying on the bleachers at the 12th Street ball field.

Matthew Jerson, 24, of Mount Pleasant with public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief after police allegedly found him intoxicated and having damaged property at a Gibson Terrace residence on Sunday.
