Marino and Diane Cantoni of Forward Township announce the engagement of their daughter, Tonya Marie Cantoni, to Matthew Kovell of Elizabeth, son of Barry and Lucia Kovell of Scenic Drive, New Salem. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School and a 2005 graduate of Duquesne University, where she majored in health management systems. She is a business analyst with United Health Care.

Her fiance is a 2001 graduate of Uniontown Area High School and a 2005 graduate of Duquesne University, where he majored in business administration. He is employed as a production planner with the H.J. Heinz Co.

The couple will be married Sept. 18, 2010, at the Duquesne University Chapel.
