Dvorchak-Georgiana

Michelle Georgiana and Joshua Dvorchak of South Park were united in marriage July 18 in a nuptial Mass celebrated at St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown. The Rev. Michael Matusak officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Tony and Janet Georgiana of Uniontown. The bridegroom is the son of Michael Dvorchak of Smock and the late Sherrie Dvorchak.

Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a diamond white A-line strapless gown accented with sequins and Alencon lace.

Kelly Paroda, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tonya Cantoni; Bethany Hadden and Kelly Loomis, both cousins of the bridegroom; Katie Smith, Audra Solarchick and Katie Wells.

Michael Dvorchak was best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Ted Hunter, Josh Turkovich, Nathan Miller, Jeff Uhara; Luke Dvorchak, Kevin Dvorchak, both cousins of the bridegroom; Michael Georgiana, brother of the bride; Matt Kovell and Bill Rouse.

A reception was held at the Hopwood Social Hall.

The bride graduated in 2001 from Laurel Highlands High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in graphic design in 2005 and a master’s degree in counselor education in 2008 from California University of Pennsylvania. She is employed as a guidance counselor at Ringgold School District.

The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Uniontown Area High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in information science from California University of Pennsylvania. He is the team lead technical support engineer with Ariba Inc.

The couple honeymooned at Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

They are living on Lindfield Drive, South Park.
