Patterson-Rechichar

Sarah Rechichar of New Salem and Bobby Patterson of Smock were united in marriage Sept. 19 at the outside Green Cathedral of Jumonville. Mike DeFino Jr. officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mary Rechichar of Hiller and Joe Rechichar of New Salem. The bridegroom is the son of Gary and Alice Patterson of Smock.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory strapless gown with beaded bodice, A-line pick-up skirt with corset back and train. Her headpiece was a waist-length ivory, two-tier veil.

Matron of honor was Misty Rechichar, sister-in-law of the bride. Megan Carney was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Christa Patterson, sister of the bridegroom; Cay-lan Kovach, Chanin Simpson, Jessica Hartmen, Karlee Stermock, Krista Broadwater, Nikki Williams and Nina Sharpe. Flower girl was Morgan Patterson, niece of the bridegroom.

Gary Patterson was best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Joe Rechichar, Matt Rechichar, brothers of the bride; Ryan Petrus, Mike Lengvarsky, Joel Windor, Raymond Windor, Sal Polacek, Jeb Stewart and Sam Petko. Junior attendants were Taylor Frost and Hunter Patterson, nephew of the bridegroom. Gavin Rechichar, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception was held at the Mount Summit Inn Resort.

The bride graduated from Brownsville Area High School and Community College of Allegheny County, Boyce Campus, with associate degrees in general studies and science with a certification in radiology.

The bridegroom graduated from Brownsville Area High School. He is employed with Hranec Corp.

The couple is residing in Uniontown following their wedding trip to Aruba.
