Audit finds no problems

By Herald Standard Staff 1 min read

The Pennsylvania Auditor General’s office has completed the audit of the Grindstone Firemen’s Relief Association for the period of Jan. 1, 2006, through Dec. 31, 2008, and found no problems. The audit is a public record and may be viewed by all interested citizens by contacting the relief association. A copy is also on file at the Jefferson Township office or may be obtained directly from the Auditor General’s office in Harrisburg.

The Auditor General’s office may also be contacted through its Web site, www.auditorgen. state.pa.us.

The report shows that funds were used for insurance premiums and death benefits, fire service equipment and training and administrative services.
