Antoinette Franchi, 88, of Citrus Springs, Fla., passed away Monday, July 6, 2009, in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville, Pa. She was born on November 21, 1920, in Oliver 1, Pa., the daughter of the late Leonardo and Angelina Bevilacqua and moved to Citrus Springs, in 2007, from Masontown, Pa.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Citrus Springs, and had also remained a member of All Saints Church, Masontown.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Mariano Franchi, sisters, Mary Bevilacqua, Lucy Cecchini and Cecelia Moore, brothers, Tony Bevilacqua, Nick Bevilacqua and Mike Bevilacqua, daughter, Anita and husband Emet Diamond, Gloria Pelletiere and grandson, Emet Diamond.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Mariano and his wife, Sharyn Franchi of Citrus Springs, Fla.; grandchildren: Lottie, Adele, Paul, Michael, Anette, Marino, Joseph and Sonya; great-grandchildren: Christopher, Lauren, Brittany, Alexandria, Gage, Isaac, Mariano, Hailey, Zachery, Nicholas and Abby; sisters: Ann Fani and her husband, Fiore and Jenny Gasser.

Friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH, JR. FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and River Avenue, Masontown, today, (July 8), from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Masontown, Pa., with the Rev. Father John M. Butler as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in St. Anges Cemetery, Masontown, Pa.

Parish Wake Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday in the Funeral Home. Parish Rosary will also be held on Wednesday at 3:15 p.m.
