Senior Master Sergeant John P. Temar II, 57 of S. Hampton, N.J., formerly of Richeyville, Pa., died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 7, 2009 in his home. He was born October 15, 1951 in Brownsville, Pa., a son of the late John P. Temar and Agnes (Gallek) Temar of Richeyville, who survives.

Sgt. Temar was a 1970 graduate of Beth Center High School.

In 1971 he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served until 1975. From 1975 to the present, he has served in the U.S. Air Force Air National Guard stationed at McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey. He was the Production Superintendent of the 108th Air Refueling Unit.

Sgt. Temar enjoyed deer hunting, deep sea fishing, camping, carpentry and making visits to Atlantic City.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, is his wife Barbaradawn Temar; a daughter Michelle Temar; a stepson Stash; all of New Jersey; four sisters: Mary Swarrow and her husband Martin of Richeyville, Teresa Keefer and her husband Barry of Uniontown, Frances Ryan and her husband Richard of Texas and Johanna Coombs of Cokesburg, Pa.; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to his father is his first wife Pamela Kish Temar.

All funeral services will be held in New Jersey.
