Anthony L. Bonamo
“Butch” Anthony L. “Butch” Bonamo, age 53, of Clarksville, Pennsylvania, died on Friday, July 10, 2009, in the Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.
Born December 12, 1955, in Morgantown, West Virginia, he was the son of Anthony and Katherine Quinn Bonamo.
Mr. Bonamo graduated in 1974 from the now former German Township High School in McClellandtown, Pa.
He lived in Clarksville for 29 years and was an Operator for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.
He loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Bonamo was a member of the Clarksville Missionary Church.
On June 17, 1972 he married Ramona Palko, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Alan Bonamo and his wife Samantha of Crucible, Pa.; two grandsons: Chase and Broc; two sisters: Carol Sill and her husband Len of Paisley, Florida, Susan Glover and her husband Rich of McClellandtown, Pa.; and his mother-in-law, Naomi Ewart Palko of McClellandtown, Pa.
Deceased are a son, Charles L. Bonamo; a brother, Robert Bonamo; and his father-in-law, Pete Palko.
Family will receive Friends on Monday, July 13, 2009, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the BEHM FUNERAL HOMES INC., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna Supervisor, where Services will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Carl Leipold officiating.
Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, Pennsylvania
