Marion (Matich) Luteran, age 68, of Keisterville, Pa. passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2009 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born on June 14, 1941 in Keisterville, Pennsylvania the daughter of Frank J. Matich Jr. and Anna Babich Matich.

Marion graduated from Uniontown High School with the Class of 1949.

She was a certified massage therapist, was retired from the Uniontown School District where she worked in the office and most recently employed as a telemarketer at Teletech in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

She was active in her church and was a member of the church choir.

She is survived by her sister, Dolores “Dolly” Manzuk and husband George of Parma, Ohio; uncles and aunts: Charles Bobish, George Matich, Anne Bindus, Mary Dean and Elizabeth Fertal; a special cousin and dear friend, Cel Patterson; along with numerous other cousins; and one Godchild.

Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Pa., today (Sunday, July 12) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, July 13, 2009, until 1 p.m. when Panahida will be held in the Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, New Salem, Pa., with the Rev. Father Vitaly Dudkin and the Very Rev. Father Myron Manzuk officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pennsylvania.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 91 South Mill Street, New Salem, PA 15468.

Parastas will be held in the Funeral Home today at 8 p.m.
