Charles H. Fosbrink
“Fuzzy” Charles H. “Fuzzy” Fosbrink, age 82, of Georgia, formerly of Ohiopyle, Pennsylvania, passed away Friday, July 10, 2009, in New London Health Center, Snellville, Georgia.
He was born May 5, 1927, in Indian Head, Pennsylvania, son of Charles H. Fosbrink Sr. and Pearl Snyder Fosbrink.
“Fuzzy” had been a resident of Georgia since 2006.
Prior to his retirement, “Fuzzy” was a Truck Driver for Consolidated Freightways for 33 years.
He was a Veteran of World War II who served in the United States Navy on the U.S.S. Wisconsin.
“Fuzzy” was a Volunteer Fireman for the Ohiopyle Fire Department.
He attended Sunday services at the Court of Decatur in Georgia.
In addition to his parents, “Fuzzy” was predeceased by a brother, Clair Fosbrink, and a sister, Gladys Fosbrink Evans.
“Fuzzy” is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Charlotte E. Corristan Fosbrink; his children: Charles R. Fosbrink and wife Candace of Copley, Ohio, Barbara Luttrell and husband Denny of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Sally Whited and husband Steven and Clay Fosbrink all of Loganville, Georgia; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and his sisters: Edith Zarycki of Parma, Ohio, and Faye Johnston and her husband Willard of Melcroft, Pennsylvania.
Family and Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m in the CLYDE BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., Route 711, Melcroft, Pa., where a Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Tim Beatty officiating.
A Committal Service will follow in the Mount Nebo Cemetery, Saltlick Township.
Military Rites will be conducted at the cemetery by the Valley Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 12019.
