PennDOT to hold open house to display plans
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is developing final design plans for a project on Route 18, located in Washington Township, Greene County. The project consists of replacing the existing single span concrete T-beam bridge, which carries Route 18 over the Garner’s Run. The proposed rigid frame bridge structure and roadway approaches will maintain the existing horizontal and vertical alignment while widening the bridge. Single lane traffic will be maintained via half-width construction controlled with a dual stop condition. An open house plans display will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the Washington Township Municipal Building, 112 Municipal Lane.
The meeting will be in an open house format with PennDOT officials and project team members on hand to answer questions and address your concerns.
Anyone interested in this project is invited to attend.
The plans display location is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. People requiring special accommodations to participate in the meeting should call Andrew Benchek, PennDOT’s project manager, at 724-439-7156 prior to the plans display.
