Uniontown police said Robert D. Swygert, 42, of McClellandtown was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, providing false identification to law enforcement officers, resisting arrest, escape and possession of cocaine following an incident on Winona Street at 4:06 a.m. Saturday.

Rena Dickinson of Wayne Street reported her home was burglarized between 4:45 and 6:50 p.m. Friday, Uniontown police said, noting that Dickinson reported electronic equipment, video games and her checkbook were stolen. Police said the burglary is under investigation.

State police said a change purse and a cell phone owned by Johanna Turturice of West Brownsville were stolen from her vehicle while it was parked on Van Buren Avenue sometime Thursday or Friday.

State police said someone tried to forge the signature of Raymond Nino of California to obtain a prescription at a pharmacy in Hempfield Township on Thursday afternoon.

Woman assaulted

Uniontown police said simple assault, theft and harassment charges were filed against Oscar Stokes, 28, of Uniontown after he was allegedly involved in an altercation with Kristy Hibbard at Hibbard’s 67 Nutt Ave. residence around 12:15 a.m. Saturday. Police said Hibbard reported Stokes punched her in the face and head and choked her with a dog leash before stealing her dog and fleeing.

Citation filed

The state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement said officers cited Riviera Restaurant and Lounge on Route 88 with violating state liquor laws May 22.

North Union Twp.

Burglary reported

State police said guns, a computer and medication owned by Lisa Marovich of North Union Township were stolen from her home on Coolspring Street between 6:20 and 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Police said a thin white man and a thin black man, both around 18 years old, were seen in the area carrying gun cases and a cardboard box at the time of the burglary. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-439-7111.

Woman charged

Cindy Lou Critchfield, 37, of Uniontown was charged with harassment following an altercation with Natasha Hall-Bearon, also of Uniontown, at a residence on Main Street at 7:20 p.m. Sunday, state police said.

Charges filed

State police said Katie Malloy, 27, of Smithfield has been charged with forgery for stealing checks written to Beverly Malloy, also of Smithfield, in May and June.

Four injured

State police said James Erjavec and three passengers all suffered minor injuries when Erjavec’s vehicle crashed on Searights-Herbert Road on July 9, state police said.

Henry Clay Twp.

Cars collide

State police said vehicles driven by Ara Fischer of Markleysburg and Elizabeth Davies of Owings Mills, Md., collided on Route 40 at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police said both drivers and a passenger in Davies’ vehicle suffered injuries in the crash.

Items stolen

State police said a video game system and video games owned by a Uniontown woman were stolen from a location in Menallen Township between 3 a.m. Saturday and 3:56 a.m. Monday.
