John A. “Sam” Bielecki, age 83, formerly of Scottdale, Pa., World War II Navy Veteran, retired from United States Steel’s Irvin Works, died on Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Survived by his wife, Shirley A. Brothers Bielecki; children: Darla Labuda (Scott), Robert Bielecki, Helen Marie “Kitten” Bielecki; stepdaughter, Cindy Stennett (Alan);siblings Sophia “Weffie” Bielecki, Mary Malego, Joseph (Josephine) Bielecki, Mitchell (Gale) Bielecki; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
