Grace Rawson Leskinen

Grace Rawson Leskinen, 80, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at the Uniontown Hospital. She was the daughter of Francis and Esther Rawson late of Oxford, Massachusetts.

She was an original founder of the Yough Lake Marina in Addison, Pennsylvania and the bookkeeper until recent years.

She also worked as a legal secretary for the New York patent law firm of Curtis, Morris and Safford for many years.

Surviving are a daughter, Donna Cubbedge and husband Bill; son, Al Leskinen; son, Steve Leskinen and wife Shanon; sister, Bertha Head and husband Norman of Hartford, Connecticut; sister, Jean White of Marblehead, Massachusetts; one brother, Francis Rawson of Oxford, Massachusetts; brother-in-law, Paul Leskinen of Hanover, Pennsylvania; as well as nine devoted grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and numerous loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews around the country.

The family would like to thank the management and staff at Mount Macrina Manor and also the Hillside Manor Personal Care Home for their care and attention to Grace during the last three months of her life.

Arrangements are under the direction of the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME of Hopwood, Pa., with a private family Memorial Service in August.
