Charles Franklin Meyers, 82, of Markleysburg, Pa., passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2009, in Kamp’s Personal Care Home. He was born August 20, 1926, in Elliottsville, Pa., son of the late Emil and Fannie Matthews Meyers.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Scott and Thelma Spade.

He is survived by two sisters: Lillie Ryan of Gibbon Glade and Martha Paluda of Uniontown; and several nieces and nephews.

Charles was a member of Canaan Church of the Brethren and was retired from farming.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, July 31, 2009, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dan Brant officiating in Bethel Memorial Cemetery, Route 381 South, Farmington, Pa.
