State police said vehicles driven by Beverly Smitley of Fairchance and Joann Holland of Uniontown collided on Route 51 at 12:52 p.m. Tuesday. Police said both women suffered minor injuries.

Car, bike collide

A 12-year-old boy was taken to Highlands Hospital Tuesday as a precautionary measure after he struck a vehicle while riding his bicycle in the 1000 block of South Pittsburgh Street. Connellsville Capt. Jim Capitos said that Jeffrey Kozel of South Pittsburgh Street was exiting his driveway when he struck a car driven by Stephanie Jones of Pittsburgh. Fayette EMS transported Kozel to the hospital following the 12:42 p.m. accident.

Items stolen

Robert Garrison of Franklin Township told police that electronic equipment was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked on Rinehart Lane in Franklin Township, Greene County, between 11 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday, state police said.
