Franklin Twp. supervisors OK 17 building permits
WAYNESBURG – Franklin Township supervisors on Monday approved 17 building permits. Additions were approved for David M. Mariner, Sugar Run Road; Amy Jo Martin, Colonial Drive; and Tara Smith, Water Dam Road. Supervisors approved permits for the Greene County Housing Authority to renovate buildings 3 through 6 in Wayne Village in West Waynesburg.
A single mobile home in East View Trailer Park was approved for Michael Wood. Double-wide homes were approved for Jerry and Nancy Frost on Nice Street, and John Hoy on Policz Road. Hoy also will be constructing a garage.
A permit for a single-family house on Garard’s Fort Road was renewed for Brian and Chera Strelick.
Bryan C. Miller, who lives on Rinehart Lane, received a permit for an in-ground swimming pool. Charles B. Riggs received a permit to construct a barn on Mount Morris Road. Two utility buildings were approved, one for Vaughn J. Eckman, Washington Road, and one for John Vedis, Washington Road. A storage building was approved for Gary Bowers, Orchard Road, for agricultural use.
The Franklin Township supervisors will meet next at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10.
