Eva M. Husar
Eva M. Husar, 97, of Star Junction, Pa., passed away Monday, June 1, 2009. She was born December 19, 1911 in Mt. Pleasant, Pa., the daughter of the late Michael and Agnes Benecek Hojara.
Eva was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church and Perryopolis Senior Citizen Center both of Perryopolis, Pa.
She is survived by one son, Raymond Husar and wife, Cathy of Perryopolis, Pa.; one daughter, Ellen Hagan and husband, James of Pittsburgh, Pa.; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one brother, Adam Hojara of Kentucky; one sister, Eleanor Severini of Michigan and one daughter-in-law, June Husar of Pittsburgh, Pa.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Husar and one son, James Husar.
Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where a prayer service will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis, Pa., Rev. Father Bob Lubic Celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Johns Cemetery, Perryopolis.
A Wake Service will be held on Wednesday in the funeral home.
