Joseph A. Raymond, 90, of Uniontown, Pa., died on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 in the South Mount Presbyterian Senior Care Center, Washington. He was born on February 13, 1919 in Enon, Pa., Greene Co., son of the late Floyd and Leafie (Miller) Raymond.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 66 years Olga F. (Fodor) Raymond, who died on November 9, 2006.

Joe was a retired coal miner, and a member of Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church, Uniontown.

Surviving are his sisters: Helen Raymond and Avon Klinedinst of Masontown, Pa; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, Pa. today from 2-4 and 6:30-8 p.m.

Visitation will also be held in Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church, 121 Walnut Hill Road, Uniontown, Pa. on Thursday, June 11, 2009 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with Rev. Bernard J. Carl officiating.

Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
