Rosemarie Tylka Farkus
Rosemarie Tylka Farkus, 72, of The Villages, Fla. formerly of Perryopolis died Saturday, June 6, 2009 in Leesburg Regional Medical Center. She was born February 1, 1937 in Van Meter a daughter of the late Stanley and Agnes Rebidas Tylka.
She was Catholic by faith, was a retired bookkeeper and was a member of the following clubs, Alhambra Club, Pennsylvania Club, Pittsburgh Club and Golf Couples of Alhambra in The Villages. Rosemarie enjoyed golf, playing cards and time with her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Tylka.
She is survived by her husband, Jerome Adam Farkus of The Villages Fla.; a son, Jerome Andrew Farkus of Roaring Springs, Pa.; a daughter, Cindy Marie Farkus of Severn, Maryland. She is also survived by a brother, Andrew Tylka of Smithton; a sister, Louise Lynn of Belle Vernon and two grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. the time of service Thursday at the Chapel in Olive Branch Cemetery with Father Emil Payer officiating.
Burial will follow in the cemetery.
