German Township fire ruled arson

GERMAN TWP. – A fire that ripped through a German Township home early Friday has been ruled arson. State police fire marshal John F. Marshall said that the fire that destroyed the home on Route 21 was intentionally set. The fire broke out at the residence around 2:30 a.m.

Volunteer firefighters from McClellandtown, Ronco, Adah, Edenborn, Footedale and Masontown, along with Uniontown firefighters, responded to the blaze.

No one was injured as a result of the fire and police have not identified any suspects in the blaze.
