Lindsay Ann Blair (Cash)

Lindsay Ann Blair (Cash) of Georgia and formerly of Filbert, Pa., went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2009 following a car accident. She was surrounded by her loving family, including her husband Jeffrey and her parents, Lois and Larry Cash of Filbert, a loving cousin Tracey Thomas (Jacob) of Columbia, S. C. and a special friend, Madeline of Eatonton, Georgia.

Lindsay was born August 12, 1984. She graduated from the Brownsville Area School District, where she was very active on the basketball, volleyball and softball teams. Following graduation, she moved to West Virginia to be with Jeff and in April of the following year, presented him with a beautiful baby girl, Naijah Paree, now 6.

In July of 2005 Jeff and Lindsay were married and in 2006 presented him with a beautiful baby boy, Jalen Xavier, now 2. In 2007 Jeff and Lindsay moved their little family to Eatonton, Ga. and bought a home. Lindsay became employed with Publix as a Grocery Replenishment Specialist. With her easy personality and great big smile, she was well loved there and quickly became a part of their professional family.

Lindsay was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Susie Binion, her Aunt Barbara Binion and a very special friend, Christina Lancaster.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her paternal grandparents, Ann and James McWilliams of Cleveland; a brother Jason of Filbert; mother- and father – in – law Lorraine and Jeff Blair, Sr. of Martinsburg, W.Va.; aunts: Tracy McWilliams of Fla. and Vivian “Peggy” Pine of Phila.; uncles: John Binion of Phila. and Andrew Binion (Joanne) of Uniontown, sister-in-law Samantha Blair; brother-in-law Bryce Blair; and niece Lyric Blair all of Martinsburg, W.Va. very special friends: Jessica Durant (Robert Middleton) and Monique Lancaster of Brownsville, and Lolita Thomas of Filbert; Godparents John Marcolini of Brownsville and Tammy Marcolini of Uniontown; and very special cousins: Angela and Lameera Pine of Phila.

The family would also like to make a special mention of Consetta Middleton of Buffington, Pa., a very dear family friend besides a number of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends will be received at the MT. ARARAT BAPTIST CHURCH in Cardale (today) Friday, June 12 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 11 a.m., the Hour of Service with Reverend Richard Calloway officiating.

Interment will follow immediately after in the LaFayette Memorial Park in Brier Hill.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 E. Main St., Uniontown, Pa.
