Man charged State police charged Lee A. Luckey, 44, of Lemont Furnace with driving under the influence of alcohol, alleging his blood-alcohol level was more than three times the legal limit of .08 percent for Pennsylvania drivers. Police said he was pulled over on Main Street for a traffic violation at 8:50 p.m. May 16. Georges Twp.

Items stolen

State police said that unspecified items were stolen from a helicopter landing site at 10 Caverns Park Road between June 6 and 8.

Uniontown

Woman assaulted

State police charged Joel Aaron Newcomer, 19, of Lake Lynn with harassment after he allegedly bit the neck of a 22-year-old Connellsville woman at the office of a Uniontown doctor around 10 a.m. Monday, police said.

Masontown

Man charged

State police charged John Edwin Lowry III, 18, of Smithfield with possession of marijuana after they allegedly found him with a small amount of the drug during a search of a vehicle in which he was a passenger on Monday evening.

Information sought

State police said that an unidentified Uniontown woman reported that an video game system, prescription medication, three cartons of cigarettes and a purse were stolen from her home at 28 Taft Ave. Police said a couple of hours later, someone called the woman and returned the video game. Anyone with information is asked the call the barracks.

Bullskin Twp.

Door damaged

State police said someone hit the door to the Bullskin Township Volunteer Fire Company with an object, causing three dents, between Monday and Tuesday.

Brownsville

Man charged

Brownsville police said they charged Charles Bush with disorderly conduct after he was allegedly playing loud music in his vehicle while parked on Second Street around 2:17 a.m. June 13.

Property recovered

State police said they are looking for the owner of a gas-powered leaf blower discovered near the home of a resident of Adams Lane who was a burglary victim earlier this year. Anyone wishing to claim the property should call Trooper James A. Pierce at 724-415-1012.
