Crash injures one
Clarence Brower, 18, of Connellsville was listed in critical condition at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., where he was flown following a 9:30 a.m. accident Wednesday on West Crawford Avenue near Leisenring in Dunbar Township. According to police, Brower was traveling in a construction zone along the road when he lost control of the vehicle, which crashed through a fence, ran through a yard and came to rest in a drainage ditch. Firefighters from Monarch, Dunbar and Morrell, along with ambulance personnel from Fayette EMS assisted at the scene. State police are investigating the crash. John F. Brothers/Herald-Standard
