Hazel L. Riggs McDonald
Hazel L. Riggs McDonald, age 77, of Dilliner, Pa., passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia. She was born September 29, 1931, in Wind Ridge, Richhill Township, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Edward M. Riggs and Alta E. Morrison Riggs.
Hazel was a long time member of the now former Faith Church of Nazarene in Greensboro, Pennsylvania.
On July 5, 1960, Hazel married Robert L. McDonald. He preceded her in death on June 18, 2009.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Ross M. Riggs.
She is survived by her son, Robert M. McDonald and his wife Pamela; by four grand children: Robert E. McDonald, Angela Spell, Daniel Spell and Alex Spell all of Fayetteville, North Carolina; one brother, Everett L. Riggs and his wife Loretta of Wind Ridge, Pa.
Friends will be received in the LOUIS E. RUDOLPH FUNERAL HOME, Thomas B. Rudolph, Funeral Director and Supervisor, 15 Main Street, Point Marion, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday July 1, 2009, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, July 2, 2009, until 10 a.m., the hour of the Service with Pastor Jeff Hughs and Pastor Woody Wilson officiating.
Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Taylortown, Greene County.
