Herald-Standard poll

1 min read

Accused of killing three police officers, Richard Poplawski, 22, should get the death penalty if he’s convicted of the killings, according to a majority of those taking part in a poll on the Herald-Standard’s Web site, heraldstandard.com. Of the 877 people who took part in the poll, 83 percent said he should put to death if convicted while 17 said he should get life in prison. The question this week concerns U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter’s switch to the Democratic Party.

Visitors to heraldstandard.com will have until noon Friday to take part in the poll. See the results of the poll in this column next Monday.
