Robert “Bobby” Christopher Watts Sr.

Robert “Bobby” Christopher Watts Sr., age 45, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 30, 2009, in Los Angeles, California. Born on February 8, 1964, he was the son of Pettus and Pauline Watts.

He was a beloved husband, brother, father and friend.

In 1982, Bobby graduated from the now former German Township Senior High in Mcclellandtown, Pa.

He entered the United States Marine Corps as a Reservist and later went into active duty, serving in the Gulf War and Iraqi Freedom. After 23 years of serving his country, he retired with the rank of Gunnery Sergeant.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Covin January Watts; his mother-in-law, Joan Covin; four sons: Robert January, Julian January, Robert Watts Jr. and Nicholas Watts; three grandchildren: Julian Jr., Kayla and Cory all from California; sisters: Charlotte Bolton of Ralph, Pa., and Dawn Lewis of Philadelphia, Pa.; three nephews: Pettus Bolton of Ralph, Pa., William Watts and Ceay Lewis both of Philadelphia, Pa.; two cousins: Anthony Darby of Washington, Pa., and Baron Davis of Ralph, Pa.; and his devoted friends: Howard and Christine.

He will be buried in the State of California with Full Military Honors.
