Julia Steiner Charlton Ward
Julia Steiner Charlton Ward, age 91, of Brownsville, Pa., died Thursday, May 7, 2009. She was born on Monday, August 20, 1917, daughter of James Steiner and Antoinette (Gorchek) Steiner.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Donald Charlton (1973) and Arnold Ward, a son, Robert J. Charlton (2002), and a brother, James Steiner.
Left to cherish her memory are: her grandson, Donald Charlton and wife Cindy of California, Pa.; granddaughter, Lynn DeFranco and husband John of Coal Center, Pa.; five great grandchildren: Michael Charlton, Robbie DeFranco, John DeFranco, Ryan DeFranco, Jenna DeFranco; and niece, Jane Steiner Taylor.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pennsylvania.
Services will be private for the family.
