George A. Bodnovich

George A. Bodnovich, 43, of Tower Hill Two, passed away suddenly May 9, 2009, in his residence. He was born April 5, 1966, in Uniontown, son of George Bodnovich and Peggy Booker Bodnovich of Tower Hill Two.

George was a member of First Christian Church of Republic. He was a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania with a Master’s Degree in School Psychology. He was a School Psychologist with Intermediate Unit 1. George was an avid hunter, trapper and fisherman who enjoyed the outdoors. He also loved all pets and would go out of his way to feed a stray cat or dog.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his companion of 13 years, Eva VanSwearingen and their two daughters: Jenna and Kylie and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends will be received in DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, today, May 12, 2009, from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, May 13, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. the hour of services, with Rev. J.W. Hormell officiating.

Interment will follow in the LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.

George was a loving son, father and companion who was highly regarded by all who knew him.

The First Christian Church of Republic Men’s Fellowship will hold a service in the funeral home this evening at 7:00 p.m.
