Gwendolyn O. (Harford) Holland, 83, of New Castle, Pa., and formerly of Uniontown passed away Monday, May 11, 2009 in Golden Hill Nursing Home, New Castle. She was born July 1, 1925, daughter of the late Matilda Jane Cramer Holland.

In addition to her mother she is predeceased by her husband, Robert Willis Holland in 1977.

Surviving are six children: Wilbert Holland and wife, Ila of New Florence, Pa., Cynthia Mazzarina and husband, Charles, William Holland and wife, Jean, Georgianna Troutman and husband, William, Agnes Freshcorn and husband, William all of New Castle and Terri Cartagena and husband, D.C. of Florida; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grand-children; one sister, Mae Wise of McClellandtown.

Gwendolyn was a member of the Salvation Army and enjoyed bowling and bingo.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood on Wednesday from 1:00 to 3:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Paul Parsons officiating.

Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, Pa.
