Donald R. Davis, 56 of Leckrone, Pa. passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at the Excela Health Westmoreland H o s p i t a l , Greensburg, Pa. He was born November 30, 1952 in Uniontown, the son of Herbert and Nellie (King) Davis.

Surviving are his wife Gloria (Shroyer) Davis; children: Gloria J. Koldys, Donald R. Davis, Jr. and John W. Davis, all of Leckrone; a grandson David A. Koldys, Jr.; brothers: Junior Davis of Washington, Pa., Robert Davis of Ohio and Dwight Davis of Smithfield; sister Nellie Rubright of Uniontown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Jerry, Duane, Richard, John, Floyd and Howard and sisters Stella McNamara and Laura Gates.

The family is inviting friends today (Sunday) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. to the EUGENE G. SALOOM FUNERAL SERVICE, INC., 730 W. Main Street, Mount Pleasant, where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Paul Lesher officiating.

Interment with full military rites accorded by American Legion Post 446 Mt. Pleasant will be held at the Greenlick Cemetery, Bullskin Twp.
