Hayes lone candidate
Democratic candidate Windel Hayes is the lone candidate seeking the Lower Tyrone Township supervisor position being vacated by Supervisor George Gillespie. Republican candidate Dennis Davis was to challenge Hayes in Tuesday’s race, but failed to complete required paperwork, according to the Fayette County Election Bureau.
