Henry Clay Twp. State police said a gun, jewelry and cash were stolen from the Route 281 home of Jeremy Sarver Monday. North Union Twp. Scooter found

State police said a red and white Next Screamer scooter was retrieved from 42 Water St. at 8:52 a.m. Sunday.

The scooter was left at the residence since Saturday afternoon. Anyone wishing to claim the scooter is asked to call police at 724-439-7111.

East Huntingdon Money stolen

State police $50 in assorted change was stolen from the 102 Market St. home of Nathan Vandyke, 21, of Ruffsdale between 6:30 p.m. Oct. 20 and 3 a.m. Oct. 21.

Georges Twp. DUI arrest

Justin Zeigler, 36, of Smithfield was charged with driving under the influence after a pickup truck he was driving traveled off a state road just east of Collidge Avenue and hit a utility pole, a concrete pole and a gas meter, causing the vehicle to roll onto its side on Friday at 1:34 a.m. No injuries were reported.

Henry Clay Twp. Charges withdrawn

State police said charges against Jeffrey James Guhl, age and address not given, were withdrawn after police confirmed Guhl was not a suspect in a burglary that occurred Monday afternoon.

According to police, two white males entered the 571 Mae West Road home of Kenneth D. Rugg, 45, between 1:38 and 1:45 p.m. and stole guns, money and a game system. Images of both suspected were captured on a deer camera Rugg had installed in his backyard.

Police are working to identify the suspects and anyone with information is asked to call Trooper James A. Pierce at 724-439-7111.

North Union Twp. Credit card fraud

State police said Pamela Ruth Fisher, 62, of Laurel, Md., And Patrick Hopkins, 49, of Rossiter reported that about $200 in purchases were recently made on their credit cards in the Pittsburgh area after they dealt with a salesperson at 809 Walmart Drive.

German Twp. Burglary reported

A 1996 Dodge truck and several other items owned by Terry Softcheck of McClellandtown were stolen from a storage facility on Route 21 between Oct. 3 and Oct. 23, state police said. The truck was found burned in Ronco on Oct. 5, police said.

North Union twp. Pictures posted

A 38-year-old female from Penn Avenue, Uniontown, told state police numerous pictures of her have been posted since October 20 on a Web site without her permission.

Georges Twp. School bus accident

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident involving a bus carrying 13 Albert Gallatin North Middle School students ranging from 11 to 13 years old on York Run Road at 3:01 p.m. Friday, state police said. Ada Morris, 49, of Masontown was driving the 2001 Chevrolet bus and Billie Shaffer, 31, of Carmichaels was driving the other vehicle, a 2005 Pontiac G6, police said.

South Union Twp. Reward offered

State police said the owner of two 2.5-ton heating, ventilation and air conditioning units, which were stolen from the Scott-Lynn Square parking lot, is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the thieves.

The cream colored units were stolen between 5 p.m. Oct. 11 and 1 p.m. Oct. 12.

Cumberland Twp. Copper stolen

Township police said they are investigating the theft of copper from numerous utility poles in the Crucible area. Police ask anybody with information about the theft to call the station at 724-966-8296 or Allegheny Power at 724-833-5240.

Stewart Twp. Jewelry stolen

State police said someone forced open the front door of a vacant home at 676 Maple Summit Road and stole about $300 worth of jewelry between 3 p.m. Oct. 24 and 1:30 p.m. Oct. 26. The victim was Shirley Fabian, 61, of Normalville, police said.

German Twp. License stolen

A license plate and cover were stolen from a vehicle owed by Krista Hornick, 31, of Masontown while it was parked at the Shop N Save on McClellandtown Road between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Friday, state police said.

South Union Twp. Car hits deer

State police said a car driven by Alice Fletcher, 31, of Point Marion hit a deer on Route 119, about three-quarters of a mile south of Route 21, at 6:30 a.m. Saturday. She was not injured.

South Union twp. Argues with principal

David Wane Scott, 55, of Uniontown was charged with harassment Friday after he allegedly started an argument at Hatfield Elementary School at 2:46 p.m. with principal Edward Zelich, 46, of Uniontown, state police said.

North Union twp. Credit card fraud

Jason Bruce Leaseburg, 36, of 1256 Connellsville Road told state police he discovered $339.20 in transactions appeared on his credit card that were not authorized from Oct. 23-27.

South Union Twp. Tires damaged

State police said tires on a vehicle belonging to Heather Leeann True, 18, of Connellsville were damaged while the vehicle was parked at Uniontown Mall between 11 and 11:53 a.m. Thursday. Police said the valve stems on two tires were cut.

Uniontown Windshield broken

The windshield was broken out of a vehicle belonging to James R. David Sr. while the vehicle was parked on South Mount Vernon Avenue around 2:45 a.m. Saturday, state police said, noting that a pumpkin was thrown at the windshield.
