Judith Scotillo Rohrer
Judith Scotillo Rohrer, age 75, of Dayton, Ohio, formerly of Brownsville, Pennsylvania passed away in the Brighton Gardens Nursing Home on Thursday afternoon November 5, 2009 after a lengthy illness. She was born June 28, 1933 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Ernest and Mary Scotillo.
Judith worked for Dayton Mental Health Center for over 20 years as a Ward Nurse. She was a constant care giver, not only to her patients, but family and friends as well.
She loved spending time with those she loved and entertaining at home and in later years on her houseboat on Brookville Lake in Indiana.
She was fortunate enough to take many cruises with her family, visiting Alaska, Mexico, the Caribbean and even South America.
After her retirement in 1994, she attended most of her grandchildren’s activities including the Centerville Jazz Band, the Centerville Wee Elks football, and numerous concerts and soccer games.
Those who were acquainted with Judy knew her to be a truly unselfish, kind and thoughtful woman and could always see the great love she had for her close friends and family. Her constant optimism, infectious laugh and smile will be greatly missed by all!
Family and Friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 12 Noon at the LAFAYETTE MEMORIAL PARK CHAPEL OF PEACE MAUSOLEUM, Brier Hill, Pennsylvania with the Rev. Paul Sandusky officiating.
