Anthony Joe “Turbo” Kaydo

0000365202-01-1.jpg Anthony Joe “Turbo” Kaydo, 68, of New Salem, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 10, 2009. He was born October 30, 1941, in Uniontown, son of the late Tony Kaydo and Sallie Doyle Kaydo.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sally Duhon.

Joe was a member of St. Procopius R.C. Church in New Salem. He retired from Hillman Barge Corporation with thirty years of service where he served as Union President of Local 3312. Joe also worked at Nemacolin Woodlands.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Bendis Kaydo; his daughter, JoAnn Davis of Connellsville; his son, Tony Kaydo and wife, Deanna of New Salem; his grandchildren: Cory Davis, Kayla “KaylaBabe” Kaydo and Cienna “Short Pint” Kaydo; his sister, Pauline Cupples and husband, John of New Salem; his brother, Max Kaydo and wife, Denise of Shamrock; one nephew, Max Kaydo; and two nieces: Jill Sweeney and Sallie Richards and their children.

Friends will be received in DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, today, November 12, 2009, from 7 to 9 p.m. , on Friday, November 13, 2009, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, November 14, 2009, until 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Procopius R.C. Church, New Salem, with Rev. Father Peter L. Peretti as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Mt. Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown.

Parish Wake Service will be held Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
