Bernard R. Ruble
Bernard R. Ruble, 67, of Lake Lynn, Pa., died unexpectedly Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at his home. Born May 7, 1942, in Lake Lynn, he was a son of the late Leon and Vera Kanapky Ruble.
He attended Springhill Township and Point Marion High Schools, was a skilled bricklayer, and member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craft-workers, Local 9, and the F.O.E 1932 in Point Marion.
He is survived by his wife, Marion Garlick Ruble; two children: Darlene Stanley and husband, Tim of Shoaf, Pa., and Shane Ruble of Lake Lynn; three grandchildren: Tabatha, Michael and Brandi; two great-grandchildren: Jacob and Ian; a brother, Arthur Ruble of Kentucky; three sisters: Delores Ruble of Smithfield, Lois Jenkins of Connellsville, Pa., and Kathryn Millazo of New York; and his mother-in-law, Dorothy Garlick of Lake Lynn.
Deceased are four brothers, Robert, Thomas, Leon, and Frank, and three sisters, Jane Miller, Esther Mankins, and Bernice Hlatky.
Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, Friday from 4 8 p.m., and Saturday, November 14, until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with Rev. Scott Teets officiating.
Interment follows in the Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion.
