Elmer John “Butch” Mosako
0000365213-01-1.jpg Elmer John “Butch” Mosako, 71, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Wednesday morning, November 11, 2009 in the Cherry Tree Nursing Center. He was born March 27, 1938, in Smock, Pa., the son of the late Elmer Mosako and Ada Josephine Klink Mosako.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Darla Gay Mosako; sisters: Anabelle Frost, June Lilley, Bessie Luick and Elma Jean Evans.
Elmer was a member of the American Legion Post 51 and the Catholic War Veterans.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Thelma Hall Mosako; his loving children: Deborah A. Young and husband, Dean of Pt. Marion, Pa., Dolly Zinn and Robert of Masontown, Pa., Elmer John Mosako and wife, Terri of Smithfield, Pa., Michael Craig Mosako and wife, Tammy of Martin, Pa., Douglas Ray Mosako and wife, Lois of Smithfield, Pa., and Shelley Fay Skidmore and husband, Thomas of Lake Lynn, Pa.; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and he had four great-grandchildren on the way; his sisters: Ida Thomas of Phillips, Pa., Kay Thomas and Alan Gibbs both of Uniontown, Pa., Rose Marie Adams of Uniontown, Pa., Joyce Turner and husband, Harry of Ephrata, Pa., and Sheila Eshelman and husband, Patrick of Ephrata, Pa.; several loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa. on Friday, November 13, 2009 from 1 to 5 p.m. Funeral Service will begin at 5 p.m. with Rev. Buzz Hall officiating.
Interment is private for the family.
