Margaret Agnes Petrosky Sherrin, age 85, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania died on Friday, November 13,2009. She was born November 4, 1924 in Smock, Pennsylvania.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Andrew Petrosky and Catherine Dvorak Petrosky; son, Patrick Sherrin; a brother, Andy Petrosky; and a sister, Mary Petrosky.

Surviving are: her loving husband, John C. “Jack” Sherrin; five children: Irene Tabaj and her husband Stanley of Connellsville, Pennsylvania, Thomas Sherrin and his wife Marion of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Robert W. Sherrin of Darnestown, Maryland, Cynthia Watts and husband Jeff of Uniontown and Timothy Sherrin of Smock, Pennsylvania; twelve grand children; seven great grand children; one great-great grandchild; three brothers: George Petrosky and wife Grace, Joseph Petrosky and John Petrosky all of Ohio; and one sister, Anna Phelan of Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME at 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pennsylvania on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, November 17, 2009 until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service with the Rev. Charles Gray officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pennsylvania.
