Pamela S. Cooley Herring
0000365474-01-1.jpg Pamela S. Cooley Herring, 55, of Masontown, Pa., passed away suddenly Thursday, November 12, 2009 in Uniontown Hospital. Pam was born on January 24, 1954 in Connellsville, Pa., the daughter of Glenn “Mack” and Loretta (Hostetler) Cooley.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, George and Helen Hostetler; paternal grandparents Glenn and Lena Cooley and her cousin Alan C. Hackney.
In addition to her loving parents, Pam is survived by her husband, William “Fish” Herring of Uniontown, Pa.; her only daughter and the love of her life, Justi L. Laughery and her husband Brandon of Smithfield, Pa.; three beloved grandsons: Ryan James, Brenden William and Evan Samuel; one sister, Deborah J. May and her husband Doug of Midlothian, Texas; several brothers and sisters-in-law and many special nieces, nephews and friends.
Not a more selfless, kind, loving and patient woman ever drew a breath of air. She was kind to everyone she had the pleasure of knowing. Pam worked at Francis Market for many years until their closing in 2000, she enjoyed being with her daughter and grand sons more than anything. Despite her battle with Alzheimer’s disease, Pam remained loving to her family, she enjoyed playing cards with her mom and loved going to Justi’s for picnics. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa. today, November 15, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, November 16, 2009 from 10 to 11 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Norma Murphy officiating.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
