Perkins-Ponteous

Sara Ponteous and Ken Perkins of St. Cloud, Fla., were married June 20 at the McClellandtown Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Geoffrey Rach officiated. The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Janice Ponteous of Butler. The bridegroom is the son of Ken and Peg Perkins of McClellandtown.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a sweetheart strapless gown with semi-cathedral train adorned with lace and crystals.

Maid of honor was Noelle Kerr of Butler. Bridesmaids were Neilly Kerr and Katie Smith, both of Butler. Paige Ponteous of Butler was flower girl.

Best man was Brandon Perkins of McClellandtown. Groomsmen were Ken Perkins Sr., McClellandtown, Justin Ponteous of Butler, Matt Leck of Ridgeway, Matt Plutko of Mars and Shawn Gaster of Fairchance. Blake Perkins of McClellandtown was ring bearer.

A reception was held at Anthony’s Lakeside Party Center.

The bride graduated from Butler High School and California University of Pennsylvania. She is employed at the Valencia Community College in Kissimmee, Fla.

The bridegroom graduated from Albert Gallatin High School and California University of Pennsylvania. He is employed with the St. Cloud Middle School.

The couple honeymooned at Seven Springs Resort.

They reside in St. Cloud.
