Sophie Burish, 83, of Mission Viejo, California died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 in Mission Viejo. She was born April 18, 1926, in Washington, Pennsylvania.

Sophie was a regionally recognized Interior Decorator while the proprietor of Sophie Burish Interiors for 35 years working out of Belle Vernon, Washington and Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her eldest son, Bruce, in 1963.

Survivors include her two sons: Brad Burish of South Carolina and Barry Burish of Florida; one daughter, Ursula Scrip and her husband Scott of California state; six grandsons: Bradley Burish of Colorado, Dallas Scrip of Kansas, Denver Scrip of California state, Matthew Burish of South Carolina, Thomas Burish of Illinois and Bruce Burish of Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

A Sunset Service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2009 in Laguna Beach, California.
