Richard “Rick” Lee Wilburn, Jr.
0000365566-01-1.jpg Richard “Rick” Lee Wilburn, Jr., 40, of Markleysburg, Pa., formerly of Fairchance, Pa., passed away Saturday, November 14, 2009 from a cardiac arrest. He was born April 2, 1969, in Uniontown, Pa., son of Mildred Wilburn of Uniontown, Pa., the late Richard Lee Wilburn, Sr.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a little brother, Carl James Wilburn and mother-in-law, Mary Fike.
Rick was happiest when he was home with his loving wife and sons. He just loved to take his two sons hunting.
He was a giver, willingly donating his time and energy to help others, he was always happy holding a baby.
He was a loyal employee for nine years at Dynamic Building Corporation. He worked as a carpenter.
Rick will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him!
Left behind are his loving wife of 18 years, Tracy Lynn (Fike) Wilburn and two sons: Richard Lee Wilburn III and Tyler James Wilburn at home; his mother, grandmother, Helen Workman of Big Brownfield, Pa.; sisters: Tamara Smith and Malani Myers and many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.
Friends will be received in the CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Farmington, Pa., on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday with Rev. David Herring officiating.
Interment will follow in the Thomas Cemetery.
