William D. “Bill” Gordon
0000365861-01-1.jpg William D. “Bill” Gordon, 50 of Little Brownfield, Pa. passed away suddenly Thursday, November 19, 2009 at his home. He was born May 28, 1959 in Uniontown, Pa., son of Howard and Betty (Holland) Gordon.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife Beth Ann (Rishel) Gordon in 2006 and three sisters, Shelly Savage, Joyce Beatty and Sheila Dressel.
Surviving are his two daughters: Billie Jo Gordon and fiance’ Gary Bowers of Uniontown and Bethany Gordon at home; special granddaughter Emily Bowers and a step-granddaughter Ashley Bowers; a special girlfriend Lisa Maust; three brothers and five sisters: Howard and Tammy Gordon of Uniontown, Jim Gordon of Uniontown, Gary Gordon of Shoaf, Linda and Henry Varndell of Jumonville, Donna Tewell of Uniontown, Shirley Gordon and Red Zebley of Uledi, Helen Hileman and Gerald Dillow, Jr. of Fairchance, Diana and Mark Morgan of York Run; two brothers-in-law: Ralph Dressel of Uniontown and Russell Beatty of Smock.
Bill was employed as a mechanic for Penn Lines. He was a member of Hutchinson Sportsman’s Club and the AMVETS Post #103 Hopwood and was an avid hunter.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday until 11 a.m., the Hour of Service with Pastor Kenneth Walls officiating.
Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery, Bruceton Mills, W.Va.
