Sgt. Frederick Burton Lewis
0000365971-01-1.jpg Sgt. Frederick Burton Lewis died peacefully in his sleep, waiting on the L o r d on Sunday, November 15, 2009, in Hampton, Virginia Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Sgt. Lewis had retired in 2004 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. There he enjoyed spending time with his wife and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Lewis; and his parents, Raymond and Goldie Lewis of Fairchance, Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sandy Lewis; his twin brother, Frank D. Lewis, who still resides in Uniontown, Pennsylvania; sister, Annetta McNeely of Mansville, Ohio.
Sgt. Lewis has four beloved daughters: Tamara Lewis, Barbara Caraballo and Buffy Moats of Morgantown, West Virginia and Kimberly Tomimitshu of Camarillo, California; ten grandchildren: Donnie, Jeremy, Nick, Max, Mason, Amanda, Tyler, Dominic, Troy, Angelina all of Morgantown, West Virginia; several nieces and nephews in the Uniontown Pennsylvania area.
Family is meeting privately to commemorate Fred’s life this week. He will be sadly loved and missed by family and friends.
