William D. Gordon “Bill”
0000365970-01-2.jpg William D. “Bill” Gordon, age 50, of Little Brownfield, Pa., passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at his home. “Bill” was born on May 28, 1959 in Uniontown, Pa., the son of Howard Gordon and Betty (Holland) Gordon.
“Bill” was employed as a Mechanic for Penn Lines.
He was a member of the Hutchinson Sportsmen’s Club and the General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 in Hopwood.
“Bill” was an avid hunter.
He was predeceased by his parents; by his wife, Beth Ann (Rishel) Gordon in 2006; and three sisters: Shelly Savage, Joyce Beatty, Sheila Dressel.
Surviving are his two daughters: Billie Jo Gordon and fiance’ Gary Bowers of Uniontown, Bethany Gordon at home; special granddaughter, Emily Bowers; a step granddaughter, Ashley Bowers; a special girlfriend, Lisa Maust; three brothers and five sisters: Howard and Tammy Gordon of Uniontown, Jim Gordon of Uniontown, Gary Gordon of Shoaf, Linda and Henry Varndell of Jumonville, Pa., Donna Tewell of Uniontown, Shirley Gordon and Red Zebley of Uledi, Pa., Helen Hileman and Gerald Dillow Jr. of Fairchance, Pa., Diana and Mark Morgan of York Run, Pa. and two brothers-in-law Ralph Dressel of Uniontown and Russell Beatty of Smock, Pa.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pennsylvania today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday, November 23, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Pastor Kenneth Walls officiating.
Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery, Bruceton Mills, West Virginia.
Visitation was also held on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
