Matthew J. “Chick” Palaisa, age 92 of New Salem, Pa., passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009 at the Uniontown Hospital. Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME, 10 North Mill St., New Salem, Pa. today until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.

A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in St. Procopius Church with the Rev. Fr. Peter Peretti as Celebrant.

Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park where Military Rites will be accorded by Hopwood AMVETS Post 103.
