He has served in the military for nine years.
He is the son of Robert L. and Tami J. Prah of Banning Road, Dawson.
The lieutenant graduated in 2001 from Yough Senior High School and received a bachelor’s degree in 2006 from California University of Pennsylvania.

Sloan deployed
Army Reserve 2nd Lt. Jamie D. Sloan has been mobilized and activated for deployment overseas to a forward operating base in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Sloan, an all source intelligence officer, is normally assigned to the 336th Military Police Battalion, Pittsburgh. She has three years of military service.
