Letters to the Editor Wardman defended

Congratulations to Mr. Wardman for being one of the few people to actually have the nerve to bite the bullet and speak about reverse discrimination.

This is an issue that should be talked about, and questioned. Why not?

Well I’ll tell you why not, because you have people like Lorraine Janectic calling you racist. Lorraine, that was incredibly rude of you.

We, as a race, do not go on television and spill out with name calling everytime Al Sharpton appears on the news speaking his mind. It wasn’t right for you to assume that Mr. Wardman is racist. It’s people like you that make this controversy an issue.

Reverse discrimination is a problem. An example, my seven-year old got suspended for calling someone big lips after being called a white ho.

Now how is big lips racist but white ho isn’t. If you ask me, the person who says big lips is a racist for associating big lips with African Americans.

And because I questioned the school’s decision to suspend her, the school assumed that I’m like the KKK or something.

We got hit with rumors being spread that we’re racist, my children were being confronted, and even beaten up because of these rumors, that in my opinion had to come from staff.

These kinds of incidents happen all the time at school, but I’ve learned that it’s easier to just let it go, than to try to fight it.

Anyway, I want to say that I’m not a racist, not in any way. I think we have a great president, and I think that our country is one of freedom and understanding.

However I do believe that if we keep up with this idea that what’s right for one isn’t right for the other, it will lead us to be divided, and at times like this, we can’t afford be driven to separation.

Uniontown

“Harrah,” to the parents of Jessica Cook for trying to remove the arrow incident from her records at Albert Gallatin High School.

Jessica Cook is innocent, and school officials know it.

They are aware of all the circumstances, and they know it’s not her fault.

Why must they punish an innocent girl with zero tolerance?

Whatever happened to common sense, compassion and humanity?

Are they striving to be politically correct instead of morally right?

Can Jessica Cook still say “proudly” that she attends Albert Gallatin High School?

She’s a model student and an asset to our community. She wants a fulltime job with the FBI.

I beg you “please help her, don’t hinder her.”
