Megan Lauren Carter of Jacksonville, Fla., is engaged to wed Kenneth James Patrick, also of Jacksonville, in a ceremony planned for Aug. 21, 2010, in Uniontown. The bride-elect is the daughter of John and Judy Carter of Uniontown. She is a 2003 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and a 2008 graduate of Penn State University majoring in administration of justice. She is an assistant manager of Panera Bread in Jacksonville.

Her fiance is the son of Frank Patrick of Masontown and Linda Boskovich Patrick, also of Masontown.

He is a 2000 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School and a 2005 graduate of West Virginia University majoring in finance.

He is an operations team lead with ING Wealth Management in Jacksonville.
